| After the design details have been finalized Merkad submits the data, supplied by DXF, STL or IGS data translators, to the client for approval. These test give Merkad and its customer the opportunity to address any design elements that might be incorrect or cause problems such as the glass product splitting when it leaves the mould. The procedure is primarily computer-based so any modifications can be made quickly and easily. |
